Job summary

ENGEL Machinery North America is seeking a Field Service Technician in Southern California. The role involves remote work at customer sites, installing and servicing ENGEL equipment, and providing customer training as needed.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in injection molding troubleshooting or field service, with strong knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Valid passport and driver’s license required for travel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate/bachelor preferred.
• 5+ years in injection molding troubleshooting or field service experience.
• Experience working with electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs injection molding machines and robots, including tests and inspections.
• Performs safety checks on equipment.
• Educates customers on equipment operation.
• Manages resolution of customer issues including parts replacement.
• Orders parts and diagnoses control system problems; guides repairs.
