Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical expert and leader for complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role requires an adaptable, team-oriented leader capable of driving continuous improvement, mentoring junior team members, and solving advanced diagnostic challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Based primarily at a service center, you may travel to remote locations, operate remotely, or work at production plants to provide advanced field

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Graduation from an automotive repair program is preferred.
• 3–8+ years in automotive repair and bumper-to-bumper diagnostics is required or preferred.
• Experience with high voltage (HV) systems is preferred.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers or field settings.
• Provide high-level remote diagnostics and troubleshooting guidance.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians and teammates.
• Use specialized diagnostic tools to diagnose electrical, HV, and network faults.
• Oversee parts operations including ordering, receiving and inventory.
