Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical leader in vehicle repairs and field operations. Based mainly at a service center, you will tackle complex diagnostics, mentor junior technicians, and drive continuous improvement across repair workflows.

The role may require travel to remote locations, production plants, or customer sites and may involve remote work. You will work with advanced tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduation from automotive repair program preferred.
• 5–8+ years automotive repair experience with bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• 3–8+ years of hands-on HV systems experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting when possible.
• Coach and mentor junior technicians; lead cross-functional problem-solving.
• Use specialized tools to resolve complex electrical and HV/network faults.
• Ensure repair quality through road tests and drive standardization across workflows.
• Oversee parts operations, including ordering, receiving, inventory, and billing.
