Rivian Automotive seeks an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader for complex vehicle repairs and field operations. Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Graduation from automotive repair school or vocational program preferred.
• Minimum age 21.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel to regional locations or production plants as needed.
• Proficient in Windows/Mac environments and work order systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, complex repairs, and inspections in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostics and remote troubleshooting guidance.
• Coach, mentor, and train junior technicians and cross-functional partners.
• Use specialized diagnostic tools to resolve HV and network faults.
• Conduct road tests to verify repair quality and drive standardization across workflows.
• Oversee complex parts operations including ordering, receiving and inventory management.
