Job summary

Rivian Automotive is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical expert and leader in supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role is based primarily at a Rivian service center but may involve remote work, travel to remote sites, or work at production plants to provide advanced field support.

Qualified candidates will demonstrate deep diagnostic skills, high voltage system expertise, and the ability to mentor junior technicians while driving

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in bumper-to-bumper diagnostics and repairs.
• Strong HV system knowledge and safety practices.
• Proven leadership or mentoring experience in field settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and complex repairs in service centers and at customer sites.
• Provide remote troubleshooting guidance and support field teams.
• Coach and mentor junior technicians; lead problem-solving initiatives.
• Use specialized diagnostic tools to resolve electrical, HV, and network faults.
• Ensure repair quality through road tests and standardized processes.
• Manage parts operations, invoicing, and documentation feedback to engineering.
