Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to act as a technical expert and leader for complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role combines service-center work with remote and mobile support, including travel to remote locations or production plants as needed.

You will drive continuous improvement, mentor junior technicians, and tackle advanced diagnostic challenges in a fast-paced environment, leveraging high-voltage and network expertise.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years automotive repair experience with bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• 3–8+ years hands-on HV system experience and HV diagnostics.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, complex repairs, installations and inspections at service centers and in the field.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting for field teams; evaluate vehicle data/schematics.
• Coach and train junior technicians; lead cross-functional problem-solving and continuous improvement.
