Job summary

IEM is seeking a Field Service Technician Level III to perform advanced start-up, commissioning, installation, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment at customer sites. The role requires independent work, strong diagnostic skills, and adherence to safety standards.

You will mentor Level I and II technicians, coordinate with project teams, and provide technical guidance to ensure successful resolutions. Travel up to 75% is expected across regional sites.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or vocational training with experience in power distribution systems.
• Minimum 3+ years related electrical, mechanical, or field service experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and service documentation.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform advanced start-up, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, service, and repair of IEM equipment (switchboards, control panels, power products).
• Install and support electrical or mechanical components and subassemblies.
• Lead or support complex field service activities for high-priority issues and commissioning needs.
• Document service activities, root cause analyses, and follow-up items clearly.
