Job summary

Kenco Group is hiring a Field Service Specialist to lead field operations support, startup readiness, and technician coaching across the MHE Solutions network. You will serve as the primary escalation point for complex equipment issues and work with leadership to improve service performance and reliability.

The role emphasizes hands-on coaching, onboarding support, and collaboration with Operations Managers to optimize workforce readiness and field deployments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in material handling equipment service or related field.
• 2-4 years of supervisory or lead technician experience.
• Proven troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems.
• Experience training or mentoring others in technical environments.
• Strong knowledge of business systems and technology platforms.
• Prior trainer/lead technician experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office; comfortable setting up iPad.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate readiness activities for new site startups, tracking budgets and resources.
• Monitor startup expenditures and report to leadership with analysis and recommendations.
• Lead technician onboarding, field training, and coaching.
• Participate in technician interviews and provide technical assessments.
• Assess onboarding proficiency and provide readiness feedback to leadership.
• Recommend workforce readiness improvements and process changes.
• Provide on-site technical leadership during startups, disruptions, and staffing needs.
• Serve as escalation point for complex equipment and system issues.
