Job summary

Kenco Group seeks a Field Service Specialist to serve as a senior technical resource for the MHE Solutions network. You will lead onboarding, provide advanced troubleshooting, and act as the escalation point for complex equipment and system issues.

You will coach technicians, partner with Operations Managers, and ensure readiness for new site startups while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement in safety and service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
• 5-8 years of experience in material handling equipment service, maintenance, or related technical field.
• 2-4 years of supervisory or lead technician experience required.
• Demonstrated expertise in troubleshooting complex mechanical, electrical, and/or automated systems.
• Proven ability to train and mentor others in technical environments.
• Capable working with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; able to set up an iPad.
• Certified forklift operator trainer.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate readiness activities for site startups, including budget tracking and resource deployment.
• Monitor startup expenditures and report to leadership with recommendations.
• Facilitate technician onboarding and field-based training programs.
• Participate in technician interviews and provide technical assessments.
• Provide on-site technical leadership for startups, disruptions, and staffing needs.
• Deliver hands-on coaching and keep up-to-date with field service processes and systems.
• Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
