Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to serve as a technical expert and leader in supporting complex vehicle repairs and field operations. The role may involve travel to remote locations or production plants while based at a service center, with night shifts from 5pm-2am.

The candidate will mentor junior technicians, drive continuous improvement, and handle advanced diagnostics using specialized tools to resolve high-voltage and network faults.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–8+ years of automotive repair experience, including bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• 3–8+ years working with High Voltage (HV) systems and HV diagnostics.
• Leadership or supervisory experience (e.g., Team Lead or Mentor) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform bumper-to-bumper diagnostics, repairs, installations and inspections in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high-level diagnostic guidance and remote troubleshooting for field teams.
• Coach, mentor and train junior technicians and cross-functional partners.
