Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling, LLC is seeking a Field Service Technician – Data Center Service to service warranty issues and provide technical guidance for our datacenter product line. You will work remotely to support customers and external sales representatives, ensuring issues are resolved with accountability and efficiency.

The role demands travel to diverse sites, strong problem solving, and collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve unusual problems in system operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years in installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC or electromechanical systems.
• Willingness to travel up to ~85% to job sites for commissioning and warranty work.

Responsibilities

• Commission, repair, and service mechanical and electrical equipment for Data Center projects.
• Review work orders, blueprints, and diagrams to determine tools, parts, and tasks.
• Collaborate with owners, contractors, engineers, and service crews to minimize building impact.
• Provide superior customer service and professional appearance.
• Advise management on customer satisfaction and product improvements.
