Job summary

Rivian is seeking an experienced Senior Field Service Technician to lead advanced vehicle diagnostics and repairs at service centers and in the field. The role involves mentoring junior teammates, driving continuous improvement, and solving complex electrical and HV challenges across diverse locations.

The position supports a Monday–Friday schedule with rotational Saturdays, a 5pm–2am shift, and a 15% pay differential for off-hour work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant automotive training preferred.
• 5+ years automotive repair experience with bumper-to-bumper diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Windows/Mac and repair documentation systems.
• Ability to travel to regional locations or production plants as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex diagnostics and repairs in service centers and field settings.
• Provide high-level remote diagnostics and guidance to field teams.
• Coach and mentor junior technicians; lead problem-solving initiatives.
• Utilize specialized diagnostic tools to resolve HV and network faults.
• Oversee parts operations including ordering, receiving, and inventory management.
