Job summary

MSR-FSR is a global partner to the high-tech industry seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer III to join our growing team. This role supports our clients and the ongoing functions of tools and equipment found in the semiconductor industry, with frequent company-paid travel.

You will install, maintain, demo, and upgrade equipment, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, read schematics, and train others. A strong background with CMP tools and Microsoft Office skills is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training and field experience.
• 3-5 years of experience within the semiconductor industry.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience with CMP equipment (Ebarra, AMAT, SpeedFam, IPEC, SEMITOOL, FSI, Verteq, TEL Litho, LAM Etch) highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, demo, and upgrade equipment as needed.
• Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Follow training procedures and published task plans for testing and diagnosing equipment problems.
• Complete necessary job documentation and safety training.
• Read and translate mechanical and electrical schematics related to the tool.
• Provide clear and concise communication to co-workers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Assist junior field personnel on safety and troubleshooting procedures.
• Represent MSR-FSR professionally while putting the customer first.
