Job summary

MSR-FSR is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer III to support semiconductor tools and equipment for our clients. This role is based in the United States and involves frequent company-paid travel to customer sites.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in the semiconductor industry, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with CMP equipment brands. You will install, service, and upgrade equipment while ensuring top-quality customer service and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training and field experience required.
• 3-5 years of semiconductor industry experience preferred.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills required.
• Experience with CMP equipment brands (e.g., Ebarra, AMAT, SpeedFam, IPEC, CMP, Semitool, FSI, Verteq, TEL Litho, LAM Etch) highly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, demo, and upgrade semiconductor tools as needed.
• Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Follow training procedures and published task plans for testing and diagnosing equipment issues.
• Complete job documentation and safety training.
• Read and translate mechanical/electrical schematics for the tools.
