Job summary

MSR-FSR is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer III to support maintenance, installation, testing, and upgrades of semiconductor tools and equipment. This role requires frequent company-paid travel to client sites and a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

The candidate will troubleshoot complex CMP and lithography equipment, read schematics, and lead junior technicians while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training and field experience.
• 3–5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with CMP and lithography equipment such as Ebara CMP, AMAT CMP, SpeedFam CMP, IPEC, TEL Litho, LAM Etch is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, demo, and upgrade equipment as needed.
• Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Follow training procedures and published task plans for testing and diagnosing equipment problems.
• Complete necessary job documentation and safety training.
• Read and translate mechanical and electrical schematics related to the tool.
• Provide clear and concise communication to co-workers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Assist junior field personnel on safety and troubleshooting procedures.
• Represent MSR-FSR professionally while putting the customer first.
