Job summary

MSR-FSR is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer III to support semiconductor tools and equipment at client sites. The role requires frequent company-paid travel to customer sites and hands-on installation, maintenance, and diagnostics to ensure tool performance.

The candidate will read schematics, document work, and assist junior staff, while upholding MSR-FSR standards of professionalism and customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent technical training and field experience.
• 3–5 years of experience within the semiconductor industry.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience with CMP equipment is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, demo, and upgrade equipment as needed.
• Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Follow training procedures and published task plans for testing and diagnosing equipment problems.
• Complete necessary job documentation and safety training.
• Read and translate mechanical and electrical schematics related to the tool.
• Provide clear and concise communication to co-workers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Assist junior field personnel on safety and troubleshooting procedures.
• Represent MSR-FSR professionally while putting the customer first.
