Job summary

Lam Research is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site repair, maintenance, and installation services for semiconductor capital equipment at customer sites in the region. You will troubleshoot complex systems, perform diagnostics, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

The role requires interpreting electrical/mechanical schematics, working in cleanroom environments, and frequent travel to customer sites both domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Experience working in cleanroom environments and PPE/safety protocols.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and start-up services for Lam equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and isolate issues to component level to minimize downtime.
• Keep up-to-date with semiconductor capital equipment and Lam products through training and certification.
• Coordinate activities between Lam and customers, maintaining records and reports.
