Job summary

Lam Research Corporation seeks a Field Service Engineer to perform on-site repair, maintenance, and start-up services for complex electro-mechanical systems at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, perform corrective actions, and coordinate with Lam and customers to minimize downtime.

The role requires a bachelor’s in Electronics/Engineering, strong schematics interpretation, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, or related field.
• Ability to interpret electrical and mechanical schematics and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/start-up services for Lam equipment.
• Perform diagnostics, isolate issues to component level, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain records and reports coordinating activities with Lam and customers.
• Act as a subject expert representing Lam and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Communicate status of Lam tools and service activities with customers.
