Job summary

Lam Research in the United States is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support and optimize semiconductor equipment at customer sites. You will lead installations, maintenance, and repairs, delivering expert technical solutions and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Role requires reading electrical/mechanical schematics, strong problem solving, and frequent travel. Hybrid on-site and remote work options are available, with opportunities to mentor junior engineers and impact customer trust.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electronics/Engineering or related field with extensive experience.
• Experience with semiconductor capital equipment installation and repair.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and operation manuals.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally and work varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver solutions for quality repair, maintenance, installation at customer sites.
• Analyze and resolve problems across Lam products to component level.
• Interpretation and application of schematics to guide service activities.
• Lead customer meetings and provide expert technical guidance on site.
• Own site KPIs and coordinate resources to meet objectives.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical instruction.
• Coordinate experiments/tests and generate clear reports.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and trust during engagements.
