Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site repair, installation, and maintenance services for complex semiconductor equipment at customer sites. You will perform diagnostics, troubleshoot at the component level, and coordinate with Lam and customers to minimize downtime and ensure operational excellence.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Engineering (or advanced degree) and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering or related field; or advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
Proficiency in interpreting electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, and operation manuals.
Able to travel domestically and internationally; willing to work on-site in customer sites.

Responsibilities

Provide quality on-site repair, maintenance, and installation/start-up services of Lam equipment at customer sites.
Perform diagnostics, isolate issues to component level, and take corrective actions to minimize downtime.
Maintain records and reports coordinating activities between Lam and customer.
Serve as a Lam subject matter expert, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.
Update customers on tool status and discuss opportunities and challenges to build trust.
