Forgent Power is seeking a Sr. Field Service Engineer to provide technical authority for complex field service, commissioning, and modernization work on MV/HV power systems. The role includes leading on-site teams, interfacing with customers, and mentoring junior engineers to drive quality and schedule adherence.

Responsibilities cover transformer diagnostics, relays and protection, safety leadership, and field documentation. A deep knowledge of NFPA 70E and protective relaying is required.

Qualificações

• 11+ years field experience with MV/HV switchgear, breakers, protection and control.
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Ability to lead field crews and manage on-site execution for complex commissioning.
• Strong knowledge of electrical safety practices (NFPA 70E/OSHA).

Responsabilidades

• Lead commissioning and startup of complete electrical systems, including testing and performance verification.
• Serve as primary technical escalation point for control, protection, and integration issues.
• Plan and perform advanced transformer and system diagnostics including SFRA/DFR and DGA data.
• Direct testing activities, mentor field engineers, and ensure quality and schedule adherence.
• Develop field procedures, commissioning standards, and customer reports.
