Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a Field Service Specialist to install, maintain, and troubleshoot Waters product suites (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, Informatics) across multiple laboratories. You will build strong customer relationships, communicate progress, and deliver on-site training while traveling as needed.

The role requires a BS/BA in a science field and at least 2 years of hands-on instrumentation experience, with willingness to travel including overnight/international training.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry, Biology, Engineering or related science field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Installation, performance maintenance, troubleshoot and support Waters' product suite (LC, LC/MS, HPLC/UPLC, SFC, Informatics)
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers ensuring their success
• Manage customer expectations with clear communication and follow-up plans
• Ensure customer compliance regulations are followed
• Deliver system level training at customer sites
• Manage service inventory according to Waters policies
• Issue field service reports daily documenting work performed
• Maintain knowledge of technology and customers' application demands
• Collaborate with Sales to identify future service opportunities and contract needs
• Ensure quality systems and Health & Safety standards are adhered to
