Job summary

RoviSys Building Technologies seeks a Lead Service Engineer or Specialist to deliver expert service and support to customers, maintain SLAs, troubleshoot control systems, and assist with field testing and commissioning. You will work on-site at customer facilities, travel as required, and participate in on-call rotations while collaborating with technical teams to resolve incidents and implement upgrades.

A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 3+ years of controls

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in approved mechanical or electrical engineering or equivalent
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems in customer environments
• 3+ years in at least one controls platform (Niagara N4, BACnet, Metasys, Rockwell, etc.)
• Knowledge of Kepware OPC server, ThinManager, VMware preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and software updates of control systems
• Identify and address system malfunctions or inefficiencies
• Collaborate with technical teams to resolve critical incidents
• Travel to customer facilities for maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation
• On-site system startup, calibration, and testing
• Support sales teams with technical input
