Job summary

Google Public Sector Northeast is seeking a Field Sales Manager to lead a distributed team across the US Northeast, including New York, NY, and to drive cloud solutions in government and education sectors. You will create and execute the regional GTM strategy in partnership with Sales and Engineering to align business initiatives with political realities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with quota-carrying sales or account management.
• Leadership experience (e.g., people management, team lead, mentorship, coaching).
• Experience working with the public sector market across the Northeast Region.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Field Sales Representatives distributed across the Southeast.
• Create GTM approach across New York State, Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont in partnership with Sales and Engineering.
• Align business and political needs across the region to drive sales programs to include GCP, Workspace, Cyber Security and other cloud solutions.
• Engage with Political Advocates/Consultants across the business to support sales alignment.
• Align with shared service resources across SLED to ensure collaborative efforts across tactical pursuits.
