Job summary

Google is seeking a Field Sales Representative for Public Sector, stationed in Washington, D.C. or Reston, VA, with deep experience selling cloud-native enterprise solutions to civilian agencies. You will build executive relationships, articulate technology strategies, and lead cross-functional deals across public sector accounts, including federal civilian agencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with designing cloud-native enterprise-grade technical architecture in customer-facing or support roles.
• Experience working with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen executive relationships with enterprise customers to influence their long-term technology and business decisions.
• Act as an expert on our customers' business, including their SaaS product portfolio, technology strategy, growth plans, business drivers, financial structure, customer base, vertical market offering and engaged landscape.
• Lead account strategy to develop business growth opportunities, working cross-functionally with multiple teams and Google Partners, to maximize business impact within Public Sector customers.
• Manage complex business cycles, presenting to C-level executives and negotiating terms.
• Drive business development, own operational excellence at scale, forecast accurately, and achieve goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle.
