Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. seeks a Senior Resident Project Representative (RPR) to serve as the Engineer’s primary field representative during construction, coordinating with Owner, Engineer, Contractor, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders.

The role emphasizes construction observation, contract administration support, and quality assurance oversight, ensuring compliance with plans and regulatory requirements while maintaining independence and professional authority.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction administration, construction observation, inspection, infrastructure projects, or engineering consulting.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans, specifications, shop drawings, schedules, and contract documents.
• Experience with project documentation systems, field reporting, and construction records management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Engineer's on-site representative throughout construction activities.
• Monitor project progress and conformance with approved plans, specifications, permits, and contract requirements.
• Maintain continuous communication with project management and engineering staff regarding project status, risks, and field conditions.
• Provide objective observations and recommendations concerning construction progress and compliance.
• Support project delivery objectives while maintaining professional independence and contractual authority limitations.
• Facilitate communication among project stakeholders to support efficient project execution.
