Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Senior Resident Project Representative to serve as the Engineer's on-site field liaison during construction, coordinating with Owners, Contractors, and regulators to ensure plans are followed and quality standards met.

The RPR leads documentation, observes progress, reviews schedules, and maintains independence while supporting project delivery, risk management, and client relations across diverse infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree in civil engineering, construction management, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 8+ years of progressively responsible experience in construction administration, construction observation, inspection, or related roles.
• Experience as Resident Project Representative, Construction Manager, or Senior Inspector preferred.
• Ability to read/interpret engineering plans, shop drawings, and schedules.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Engineer's on-site representative during construction.
• Monitor progress for conformance with plans, specs, permits, and contract requirements.
• Maintain ongoing communication with project management and engineering staff.
• Provide objective observations and recommendations on progress and compliance.
• Support project delivery with professional independence and contractual awareness.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication to support efficient execution.
• Mentor junior inspectors and field staff; standardize field reporting.
• Assist in training staff on contract administration and QA requirements.
• Support client relationships and quality assurance across project delivery.
• Maintain comprehensive quality records and project documentation.
• Participate in planning meetings, progress meetings, and coordination sessions.
• Identify risks, delays, and compliance concerns; escalate as needed.
