Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with claim handling.
• 5–10 years of adjusting experience.
• State adjuster licenses and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong Xactimate proficiency, Level II Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of local regulations, geography, and legal concepts.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage field property claims, including CAT responses; deliver empathetic communication and set reserves.
• Lead investigations, assess coverage, and issue reservation of rights; escalate as needed.
• Pursue subrogation opportunities and coordinate recovery efforts.
• Maintain detailed claim records and prepare reports; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with legal, underwriting, vendors, and agents; may represent the company in mediations or trials.
• Mentor junior adjusters and contribute to training and best-practices materials.
