Hanover Insurance Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Field Property Adjuster for the Plainfield, New Jersey territory. This is a remote Full-time/Exempt role with field investigations and travel as needed.

The Sr Adjuster Field Service Claims role involves independently managing complex, high-value property claims, advanced investigations, evaluation, and negotiation to resolve claims while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-quality service. Mentorship to junior staff is expected.

Formación

• 5–10 years of adjusting experience.
• Knowledge of local geography, regulations, and public safety agencies.
• Strong negotiation and decision-making: including litigation and compliance.
• Clear verbal and written communication across stakeholders.
• Highly organized with ability to manage complex workflows.
• Willingness to travel; on-site work as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Independently manage field property claims, including CAT and outside field investigations.
• Lead investigations, assess coverage, and issue documentation including reservation of rights.
• Escalate issues as needed and manage reserving accuracy and efficiency.
• Coordinate with legal, underwriting, vendors, and agents; lead cross-functional meetings.
• Mentor junior adjusters and contribute to training and best practices.
• Deliver empathetic, clear communication to claimants and stakeholders.
