The Hanover Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Field Property Adjuster for the Southfield, Michigan territory. This is a remote, full-time role involving field investigations and occasional on-site requirements.

The role requires independent management of moderate to high-value field property claims, advanced investigation, evaluation, and negotiation skills, with travel on short notice. You will collaborate with internal teams and external experts to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in claim handling.
• Typically requires 5–10 years of adjusting experience.
• Must have and maintain state adjuster licenses and a valid driver's license.
• Strong Xactimate proficiency, preferably Level II Certified.
• Knowledge of local geography, regulations, and public safety agencies.

Aufgaben

• Independently manage field property claims, including CAT response and outside investigations.
• Lead thorough investigations, assess coverage, and issue documentation.
• Identify subrogation potential and coordinate with recovery efforts.
• Maintain comprehensive claim records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with legal, underwriting, vendors, and agents; represent the company when needed.
• Mentor junior adjusters and support training initiatives.
