Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking an experienced sales professional to represent the company in the sales process, gather client requirements, and develop comprehensive proposals for residential, multi-family and commercial projects. The role includes presenting solutions, troubleshooting field issues, and cultivating new customer relationships.

The position may involve leading sales activities, acting as Sales Manager in the absence of the manager, and training less experienced Outside Sales Reps

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field plus two years of sales experience or equivalent.
• Experience handling complex customer requirements and designing sales proposals.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company during the sales process by gathering data on customer needs and design specs.
• Develop sales contracts for residential, multi-family and commercial projects.
• Troubleshoot field issues and plan/execute sales presentations.
• Identify and solicit new customers and generate sales opportunities.
• Provide training to less experienced Outside Sales Reps and may train staff.
