Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking an Operations Manager in California to oversee day-to-day branch operations, drive efficiency, and ensure safety and compliance. The role manages staff, resources, and workflows to achieve targets while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include process improvement, labor planning, procurement, and KPI reporting using BrightPath, Power BI, and other systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in landscape or business, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in construction or landscaping, with 2–3 years of management.
• Preferred: Applicator license (pesticide or fertilizer).
• Proficient with FSM, BrightPath, MFP/WAR, and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily branch operations to meet financial and safety targets.
• Lead, train, and evaluate staff; drive a positive work environment.
• Execute weekly/monthly labor planning and monitor budgets.
• Source inventory, manage procurement, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Enforce safety, compliance, and risk management procedures.
• Report KPIs and drive data-driven continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with departments and vendors to support operations.
