Job summary

BrightView Landscapes seeks an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day branch operations, lead staff, manage resources, and drive efficiency and safety while meeting financial targets and policy compliance.

You will optimize workflows with tools like BrightPath and Power BI, coordinate across departments, and foster a collaborative, customer-focused environment on a field-based schedule.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in construction or landscaping.
• 2–3 years of management experience in landscape/service.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a related field.
• Preferred pesticide/fertilizer license.
• Proficient in MS Office and company systems (BrightPath, FSM).
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop staff; supervise performance and foster a positive work environment.
• Analyze processes; implement efficiency improvements and cost controls.
• Execute weekly/monthly labor planning; monitor expenses against targets.
• Source and manage inventory; ensure on-time vendor deliveries.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and risk management; maintain documentation.
• Track KPIs; report challenges to Branch Manager daily.
• Coordinate across departments to support customer service and quality.
• Lead projects; ensure timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Oversee staffing, equipment, and technology allocation; plan for future needs.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners to drive excellence.
