Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Senior Field Operations Manager to lead operations at a large branch or multiple branches in the region.

You will oversee managers, dispatchers, service technicians and drivers, review routing and paperwork, monitor service levels, and implement standard practices with senior leadership. This role requires travel and strong leadership and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 Year / associate’s degree from two-year college or technical school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5 of related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Direct oversight of branch staff including managers, supervisors, dispatchers/routers, service technicians, pick up & delivery drivers, yard personnel, fence crew(s), and shop.
• Review paperwork for completion and accuracy (manifests, routing tickets, DVIRs).
• Monitor service levels and deliveries; recommend measures to improve efficiency and customer care.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure clear regional communication.
• Resolve customer service and delivery issues; coordinate asset transfers across branches.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet and exceed branch needs.
• Analyze and report on operational activities such as service levels, routing, labor, overtime, and fuel.
• Develop and implement standard practices with the Area Manager and Regional VP.
• Mentor and lead operations managers.
• DOT administration for fleet including log books and maintenance.
• Review time punches and approve time off; schedule as needed.
• Oversee staff development and periodic performance reviews.
• Maintain a positive, safe work environment.
• Travel 25-35% between sites as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned
