Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Field Ops Supervisor to lead yard operations, supervise technicians, and coordinate routes for efficient delivery and pickup. You will partner with Operations, Routers, and other departments to ensure top performance and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include staffing, asset logistics for events, payroll‑related paperwork review, DOT compliance, and safety program administration. A strong leader with 2+ years experience is ideal.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 Year/Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years proven leadership experience leading a diverse team to accomplish results.
• Valid Driver License required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all activities for the yard; supervision of Technicians.
• Coordinate routes, pick-ups, and deliveries with Operations Coordinator & Routers for routing efficiency.
• Analyze and report on routing efficiency, pickups vs deliveries, labor, overtime, fuel, and customer care.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure clear communication and resolve customer service issues.
• Coordinate asset transfers with Operations Supervisors at other yards as needed.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet customer and branch needs.
• Assist Operations Manager with logistics for special events and asset service.
• Review driver paperwork (manifests, tickets, route sheets, DVIRs) for accuracy.
• Review and approve Time Saver punches and time-off requests for payroll.
• Oversee fleet DOT administration (log books, records).
• Manage the company's driver safety program with Safety & HR involvement.
• Oversee employee development and periodic performance reviews.
• Operate various company vehicles.
