Job summary

United Site Services is seeking a Field Ops Supervisor to oversee yard and transportation operations and lead a team of technicians and drivers. The role emphasizes coordinating routes, pickups, and deliveries to achieve routing efficiencies while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

You will analyze operational data, coordinate with multiple departments, and ensure staffing levels meet customer and branch needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 Year/Associates Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years proven leadership experience leading a diverse team to accomplish results.
• Customer Service, Team Building, Organization, Communications, Decision Making and Problem Solving.
• Valid Driver License and ability to operate a variety of company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all activities for the yard and supervise technicians.
• Coordinate routes, pick-ups, and deliveries to maximize routing efficiencies.
• Analyze and report on operational activities (routing, labor, fuel, etc.).
• Ensure effective communication across departments and resolve service issues.
• Maintain staffing levels to meet branch needs; coordinate logistics for events.
• Review driver paperwork and payroll-related forms; approve time entries.
• Administer fleet safety programs and DOT-related records; support safety training.
• Conduct periodic performance reviews and develop staff.
