Job summary

Branch is a remote-first company with offices in Missouri and Illinois, seeking a Senior Territory Manager to own a defined state set and grow agency relationships. You will drive adoption of Branch’s quoting tools and coach independent agencies to produce business that fits our appetite.

The role emphasizes in-person field sales, travel, and strong presentation skills, with a path to equity through performance. Remote-friendly setup and office options are available in MO and beyond.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a quota- or target-carrying field sales role with defined geography or book of business.
• Comfort with a high-travel, self-directed field schedule.
• Strong in-person presentation and group training skills with agency principals and producers.

Responsibilities

• Be the face of Branch to agency principals and producers, driving adoption of Branch quoting tools and coaching agencies to write business that fits appetite.
• Move from a remote, digital model to an in-person, field-based approach and travel as needed.
• Build and segment a target agency list and carry a production target for bound premium and policy count in your territory.
• Manage a pipeline of appointed agencies, quoting trends, and bound premium by agency, adjusting plans to close gaps.
• Conduct regular in-person agency visits, lunch-and-learns, and local events to strengthen relationships with principals and producers.
• Clearly communicate Branch’s value proposition and differentiators to ensure target producers understand Branch’s offerings.
• Train agency stakeholders to quote in Branch’s quoting platform before using a comparative rater.
• Grow share of target agencies producing with consistency and re-engage inactive ones.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Underwriting, and Operations to remove territory-level production barriers.
