Job summary

Artheon is seeking a highly motivated Resident Engineer to join our Berlin, NJ team. The role serves as the on-site authority for highway, bridge, and infrastructure projects, supervising field crews and enforcing contract requirements.

The candidate will manage safety, traffic considerations, and contract administration while coordinating with agencies, design teams, contractors, utilities, and the public.

Qualifications

• On-site leadership of highway infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract plans and specs.
• Experience with field inspections and traffic control requirements.

Responsibilities

• On-site field management of highway projects.
• Enforce contracts and verify compliance with plans and documents.
• Oversee safety, traffic control, and daily reporting.
• Coordinate with agencies, design teams, contractors, utilities, and the public.
• Maintain project documentation, logs, RFIs, and submittals.
