Job summary

Artheon is seeking an experienced Highway Project Manager to join our transportation engineering team in Berlin or East Brunswick, NJ. The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years of highway design and transportation engineering experience, with a NJ PE license preferred.

You will lead projects from concept through completion, managing scope, schedule, and budgets, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory compliance with NJ standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Approximately 15 years of progressive experience in highway design and transportation engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in New Jersey preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage highway and transportation projects from planning and design through final delivery, including scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables.
• Provide technical oversight for highway design, alignments, typical sections, cross-sections, and safety enhancements.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships while communicating project status and priorities.
• Lead coordination with project managers, engineers, designers, clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Oversee safety improvements and Maintenance and Protection of Traffic plans and construction staging.
