Job summary

Artheon is seeking a Highway Project Manager to lead transportation projects in Berlin or East Brunswick, NJ. The role requires ~15+ years of highway design experience and strong project leadership to deliver complex roadway programs from concept through construction.

You will manage scope, schedule, budget, client relations, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams while guiding staff and ensuring compliance with NJ standards.

Qualifications

• Approx. 15 years of progressive highway design and transportation engineering experience.
• NJ Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Experience managing transportation projects from concept through completion.

Responsibilities

• Manage highway and transportation projects from planning and design through final delivery, including scope, schedule, budget, staffing and deliverables.
• Provide technical oversight for highway design and standards including alignments, profiles and safety enhancements.
• Serve as primary client contact and maintain relationships with transportation agencies, communicating status and priorities.
• Lead coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budgets.
• Oversee MPT plans, traffic staging and regulatory compliance with NJTA, NJDOT and AASHTO guidelines.
• Support business development, proposal work and pursuit of new transportation opportunities.
• Mentor and guide engineers and designers to ensure quality and consistency across deliverables.
