Job summary

Artheon is seeking a highly motivated Resident Engineer to lead on-site management for highway, bridge, and infrastructure projects in Barnegat, NJ. You will oversee field inspection teams, enforce contract plans, and manage daily contract administration.

Reporting to leadership, you’ll coordinate with design teams, contractors, and public stakeholders while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance on site.

Qualifications

• NICET Level IV certification or 10+ years of experience in heavy highway construction management.
• Familiarity with NJDOT or NJTA design standards and construction management systems.
• Knowledge of internal contract compliance procedures.

Responsibilities

• On-site field management and enforcement of contract plans and documents.
• Inspect and supervise field construction activities and staff.
• Ensure safety, traffic control and regulatory compliance on work sites.
• Effectively communicate technical information to clients and team members.
