IonQ is seeking a Senior Account Executive - US Federal - Space Force to bring IonQ’s quantum hardware, software, and access to targeted DoD missions. This is a senior, individual contributor role with potential growth into a team lead.

You will own the full sales lifecycle, from qualification to proposal and contract negotiation, working closely with Security, Legal, and Engineering to win high‑stakes federal opportunities across Space Force, Army, and TRMC. Travel up to 40% is expected.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in defense/go-to-market sales to DoD or OSD-level agencies.
• Experience selling HPC/AI infrastructure or mission systems (hardware or software).
• Strong relationships with USSF, Army, TRMC or related agencies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end sales and capture lifecycle for US Federal opportunities.
• Develop a robust pipeline targeting Space Force, Army, and TRMC programs.
• Lead complex negotiations for defense contracts and OTAs; coordinate with internal teams.
