Job summary

IonQ is seeking a Senior Account Executive - US Federal - Space Force to join our GTM team. This role is remote within the United States, with up to 40% travel, and focuses on selling IonQ’s quantum hardware, software, and access to a curated DoD client set, including the Space Force.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in defense GTM, proven success in closing large platform deals, and deep relationships across USSF, Army, and TRMC.

Qualifications

• Minimum decade-long experience selling to DoD/Space Force with quota accountability.
• Experience selling HPC, AI/ML infrastructure, or mission systems to DoD.
• Established relationships within Space Force, Army or TRMC leadership.
• Deep understanding of federal procurement, security compliance, and programs of record.
• Proven ability to navigate complex GTM opportunities in defense space.

Responsibilities

• Drive US Federal go-to-market strategy for Space Force opportunities.
• Develop multi-year engagement plans with senior DoD stakeholders.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to close multi-million dollar deals.
