Job summary

Harness is seeking a Federal Sales Engineer who operates at the intersection of sales and engineering. You will articulate technology and product positioning at executive, business and technical levels, and actively drive the technical evaluation stage of the sales process.

You will lead platform demonstrations, connect business problems to technical solutions, and guide customers toward a commercial relationship while supporting the sales team with expert technical support.

Qualifications

Excellent presentation and storytelling skills for executive, business and technical audiences.
Ability to map business problems to technical solutions in software delivery.
Experience working with customers to debug issues during demos or pilots.
Strong cloud knowledge and familiarity with infrastructure automation.
Ability to respond to RFIs/RFPs and convey customer requirements to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver world-class platform demonstrations and technical presentations.
Directly engage with customers to troubleshoot common errors.
Articulate value propositions and tie business problems to technical outcomes.
Drive and manage complex technical engagements to prove Harness value to customers.
