Job summary

Harness seeks a Federal Sales Engineer to bridge sales and engineering in the Washington, DC area. You will articulate technology value, run technical evaluations, and collaborate with sales to steer customers toward a commercial relationship.

You will deliver great product demonstrations, represent the product at field events, and stay up-to-date on Harness developments while traveling within your sales territory as needed. Federal experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to articulate technology and product positioning at executive, business and technical levels.
• Strong cloud knowledge and experience with infrastructure automation.
• Experience responding to RFIs/RFPs and traveling within a sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compelling product demonstrations and stories that show value to customers.
• Represent Harness at customer engagements and field events such as conferences and seminars.
• Stay current on changes and developments in Harness technologies and communicate them clearly to customers.
