Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to shape the future of federal facilities in the United States. You will lead electrical design across multiple concurrent projects for USACE/NAVFAC, serving as a federal SME and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative, sustainable solutions.

The role includes budgeting, proposals, and 20% travel for site visits and client engagement. A PE license and 15+ years in federal facility design are required, with U.S.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship required for federal project work.
Minimum 15 years of consulting engineering experience in facility design with federal focus.
Experience delivering IFC design packages for federal facilities.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design teams and mentor staff to produce construction-ready designs.
Design facilities for USACE or NAVFAC with SCIFs, TEMPEST shielding and compliance.
Develop budgets, proposals, schedules and staffing plans.
Engage in business development and client relationships in government sectors.
Ensure compliance with UFC, UFGS, NFPA, NEC, NESC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UBC, IEC, CE and EN.
