Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to shape electrical design for federal facilities, including SCIFs and TEMPEST shielding. You’ll lead teams, coordinate with USACE/NAVFAC, and deliver IFC design packages on multiple projects with travel up to 20%.

Required are a BE Electrical Engineering degree, U.S. citizenship, and strong communication. A PE license is preferred and EIT status is essential for early-time approvals.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship (required for federal project work).
• Minimum 5 years of consulting engineering experience in facility design with extensive focus on federal government/agency projects.
• Proven experience delivering IFC design packages for federal facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Registered EIT; PE license preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills for presentations, speaking, and written work.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design teams to produce construction-ready packages reflecting scope and documentation.
• Design facilities focused on USACE or NAVFAC with emphasis on SCIFs, ICD 705, and TEMPEST shielding.
• Ensure compliance with UFC, UFGS, NFPA, NEC, NESC, NETA, IEEE, UL and related standards.
• Model and design using ETAP, SpecsIntact, Revit, AutoCAD, and other listed tools.
• Collaborate with federal clients across multiple projects and travel for site visits.
