Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design across high-profile U.S. federal facilities, including SCIFs, ICD 705 compliance, and TEMPEST shielding. You will guide design teams, mentor staff, and manage budgets, schedules, and resources for USACE/NAVFAC projects.

The role requires 15+ years of federal facility experience, U.S. citizenship, and a PE license. Travel of ~20% and strong client engagement are part of the position.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required for federal project work.
• 15+ years of consulting engineering experience in facility design for federal projects.
• Active PE license in the U.S. with multiple state licenses preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design teams and mentor junior staff to produce construction-ready design packages.
• Design facilities focused on USACE or NAVFAC with SCIFs, ICD 705 compliance, TEMPEST shielding.
• Take leadership in project budgets, proposals, schedules, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Engage in business development and client relationship building within federal sectors.
• Ensure compliance with UFC, UFGS, NFPA, NEC, NESC, NETA, ANSI, IEEE, UL, UBC, IEC, CE, EN.
• Fluency in design and modeling software, especially ETAP and SpecsIntact, also Revit, AutoCAD, Elum Tools, SKM, EDSA, Easy Power.
