Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the mechanical discipline on multiple projects, including designs for United States federal facilities. You will work with architects, engineers, project managers and clients to design HVAC systems and sustainable solutions.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering with 10–15 years of consulting experience and US PE licensure. Citizenship is required for federal work; travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required for federal employment eligibility.
• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 10–15 years of consulting experience.
• PE licensure in the United States; multiple state licenses preferred.
• Experience producing IFC design packages for federal facilities.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead design teams and mentor junior staff to develop construction-ready design packages.
• Lead the mechanical discipline on multiple concurrent projects through pursuit, proposal, design, and construction phases.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers and clients on HVAC design.
• Travel to project sites for engineering site surveys and client collaboration.
