Job summary

Analytical Mechanics Associates (AMA) seeks a mid-level to senior Contracts Administrator to independently manage the full life cycle of prime contracts and subcontracts, and related agreements supporting NASA and Department of Defense programs. This position is located in Huntsville, AL, with hybrid or remote arrangements possible for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive contracts or subcontract administration experience.
• 8+ years for senior level with independent management of complex agreements and negotiations.
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and their application to prime contracts and subcontracts.
• Experience administering cost-type, fixed-price, and labor-based contracts and subcontracts.
• Strong commercial contract and subcontract experience administering both subcontracts and subcontractor agreements.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and administer prime contracts, delivery orders, and task orders from pre-award through post-award.
• Support proposal and bid preparation, reviewing solicitations, SOWs, and specs to identify risks.
• Serve as a point of contact with Government contracting personnel and teaming partners.
• Support program reviews with contract status, funding, and compliance information.
• Coordinate review and approval of terms and legal sufficiency of documents.
• Manage subcontracts through full life cycle including award, modifications, and closeout.
• Organize RFPs and ensure competitive negotiations.
• Evaluate subcontractor proposals, including technical and price analyses, and prepare award recommendations.
